The first few minutes of meeting a client can make all the difference.
I never expect someone to simply walk through the door and immediately feel completely relaxed. There can be nervousness, anticipation or even a little uncertainty about what to expect. My role is to make that disappear naturally.
A warm smile, easy conversation, a little humour and, most importantly, taking the time to listen can quickly turn two strangers into comfortable company. I let the moment develop at its own pace rather than rushing into anything.
For me, a great evening isn't about following a script. It's about creating an atmosphere where my client can relax, forget about the outside world and genuinely enjoy the time we have together.
The best experiences usually begin when ...... you stop thinking about the "what if's" or the clock and simply start enjoying the company you 're with.
