The Moment
Share
Hey…
I’ve been thinking about that moment. The one where the talking stops, the door closes behind you, and the rest of the world just… slips away.
The room is already warm. The lights are low. The oil is waiting on my hands.
And then that first touch. Slow. Warm. Nothing rushed about it.
Those first few minutes aren’t really about technique. They’re about trust. About your body starting to believe it can let go. Your breath deepening. Your shoulders dropping. That quiet little realisation that nothing else needs you right now.
I love that. When it just happens on its own.
From there we stay with it. No rushing. No agenda. Just warmth, and presence, and the feeling of being properly received.
Maybe that’s why touch like this can feel so different. It brings you back into your body. Reminds you that you’re here. And sometimes… that’s all you actually need. To stop holding everything, and just receive. Fully. Freely.
