A Day in the Life of Barbie – Touring Far North Queensland ✨
Share
People often ask me what life is really like when I'm on tour. While there are plenty of glamorous moments, there's also a lot that happens behind the scenes to make every visit special.
My current adventure has taken me all the way through Central and Far North Queensland. I've loved meeting new and familiar faces in Rockhampton, Mackay and Townsville, and now I'm enjoying my final few days in beautiful Cairns before heading home.
A typical day starts with a coffee while I reply to messages and organise my diary. Touring means planning appointments, checking travel times, finding the best local spots for lunch and making sure everything runs smoothly for everyone who's booked to see me.
In between appointments, I like to explore a little. Every town has its own personality, and one of the best parts of touring is discovering somewhere new, whether it's a scenic drive, a waterfront walk or a great café.
When it's time to get ready, that's where the fun begins. Hair, makeup, choosing the perfect outfit and creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere are all part of helping every client feel comfortable from the moment we meet.
What I enjoy most about my work is the genuine connections I make. Every person is different, and I love creating an experience that's warm, relaxed and memorable rather than feeling rushed or transactional.
As this Queensland tour comes to an end, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has welcomed me along the way. Your support is what makes these trips so worthwhile, and I can't wait to plan my next adventure.
I'm still in Cairns for a short time, with limited availability before I head home. If you've been thinking about meeting me, now is the perfect opportunity before I leave. 💋
