Friday evenings always remind me that everyone is carrying something different into the weekend.
Some people are celebrating. Some are travelling for work. Some are escaping a busy week, and others simply don’t want to spend another Friday night alone.
One of the unexpected parts of this work is meeting people from every walk of life. I’ve shared conversations with surgeons, tradies, lawyers, pilots, business owners, and men who simply wanted someone to laugh with for a couple of hours. It reminds me that we’re often far more alike than we imagine.
I believe the best experiences are never rushed. A little planning, a little anticipation, and a genuine connection usually make for an evening that’s remembered long after it’s over.
